About Me
I am a student at Flinders University, I hope to graduate with a Bachelor of Science (Biodiversity and Conservation). I am passionate about great apes and their welfare, and my ultimate goal would be to work with them as as keeper/caregiver.
I spent two weeks at The Jane Goodall Institute South Africa's chimpanzee sanctuary, Chimp Eden, as a volunteer, recording the behaviour of the rescued chimps. It was a truly amazing experience. In the future, I am hoping to do an internship at a chimpanzee sanctuary to gain experience working with chimps in an environment with a strong focus on welfare.
I am also very much a dog person, in 2011 I added a beautiful Saluki girl, Bella (or Baghdad Cool Coquette as she is also known), to our family. We've recently hit the show ring, and Bella has her first points towards her Championship.
I do both digital and traditional art, with my main subject being dogs. Recently, I have been focusing on digital art and have taken a few commissions.
